Hernia reduction and IPOM (Intraperitoneal Onlay Mesh) plasty are surgical procedures performed to repair hernias, which occur when organs or tissues protrude through weak spots in the abdominal wall. This can lead to discomfort, pain, and a visible bulge or lump in the affected area. The goal of this procedure is to reinforce the weakened abdominal wall and prevent the hernia from recurring.
