Wide Madonna with children QUEEN OF POP RELEASES ANOTHER KIDS BOOK A small group of New York City school children received a special treat on Tuesday afternoon (07JUN05): international superstar Madonna read her latest children's book, "Lotsa De Casha" to the youngsters. This is the fifth and final children's book from Madonna. "Lotsa De Casha" is a story about Lotsa, a character who is obsessed with money. The book chronicles Lotsa's journey as he learns that money cannot buy happiness. The Material Girl thinks this is an important lesson for children to learn. In fact, "Lotsa De Costa" features five points she hopes parents will teach their kids. Madonna's children's books have sold more than two million copies worldwide. They have been published in 40 languages and in more than 110 countries. While Madonna didn't answer questions from the press, she did stop to answer questions from the children during her 25 minute reading. Luckily for Madonna, the kids didn't ask anything too intrusive. They wanted to know more about the book's illustrations than her love life. Madonna asked questions right back, wanting to know the kid's ages and what they thought of the book. Following the reading, Madonna gave signed copies of "Lotsa" to a handful of lucky fans. Naturally Madonna's own children are big fans of her books. Her son Rocco loves "Mr. Peabody's Apple" while daughter Lola likes "The English Rose." Madonna will continue her book promotion appearing on ABC's "The View" in the US and even making a special reading of "Lotsa De Casha" at a New York City library.
