Aug 2024 👑 Witness the coronations as they looked like during the most famous part of the history of the city 👑 Bratislava will cheer up again for three days with spectacular celebrations in honour of the recently crowned monarch. 👑 The main program is a coronation procession from the Bratislava Castle. You can follow a the procession of approximately 200 members in ornate historical costumes through the streets of Bratislava. This year we will commemorate the coronation of Prince Joseph I. Slovak and Czech groups of historical fencing as well as historical theater and dance groups will be represented in the procession. You will see the king and queen, higher and lower nobility, church dignitaries as well as ordinary people.
