This video demonstrates step by step how you can re-synthesize an utterance with the articulatory speech synthesizer VocalTractLab 2.4 (released in Dec. 2025, see www.vocaltractlab.de). The method allows you to copy the phone durations and the fundamental frequency contour of the original utterance, but uses the “voice” of the VocalTractLab speaker model (with its specific anatomy and articulation).
