Plumstone mountain is located North of Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire toward Hayscastle Cross. The Mountain is less of a mountain, and more of a broad rounded heather clad hill, capped by a rocky tor of grit-like rock. It’s this summit tor that forms the mountains principle point of interest. The surrounding area provides multiple walking routes in all directions, I headed west from the summit toward Dudwell Mountain again this is not a significant peak and there was no visible path to the summit instead the trodden paths took you around the mountain through numerous Fields seperated by Gates, Once you vacate the fields and head south you will crest the hill and be greeted to a large wooded area running adjacent to road "The Causeway" from here you will head through the wooded area and return to Plumstone Mountain from a different direction with options to extend the walk.
