The New York Giants are through the first wave of NFL free agency, and now the real debate starts: are the Giants actually better around Jaxson Dart after adding Darnell Mooney, Patrick Ricard, Isaiah Likely, Tremaine Edmunds and major special teams help, or did they still leave too many holes on this roster? Giants fans, which unit got the biggest upgrade and which one still worries you the most right now? Drop your better, worse or even grades in the comments and subscribe so you do not miss our live Giants reactions all offseason. Tonight we are breaking the entire roster down unit by unit after free agency and asking the question every Giants fan is arguing about right now. Quarterback feels even because the room is basically the same and, honestly, nobody wanted to see Russell Wilson back on the field anyway. Running back looks better because Cam Skattebo, Tyrone Tracy Jr. and Devin Singletary are still here, but the real difference is Patrick Ricard. If the Giants are serious about becoming more physical, that move matters. At wide receiver, the loss of Wan'Dale Robinson hurts because he may still be the best individual player the Giants lost on offense, but the room itself looks deeper with Darnell Mooney, Calvin Austin III, Isaiah Hodgins and Gunner Olszewski all in the mix behind Malik Nabers and Darius Slayton. Tight end looks better too because swapping Daniel Bellinger for Isaiah Likely is a real upgrade if the Giants actually use him the right way. The tougher conversations are in the trenches and parts of the defense. Offensive line feels worse today because right guard is still unsettled, Greg Van Roten is still out there, and this group still feels unfinished. Defensive line also feels worse or at least incomplete because the Giants still need more help against the run and have not done enough there yet. Edge is probably even for now because the core is still intact, but that could change fast if Kayvon Thibodeaux is moved. At linebacker, Tremaine Edmunds over Bobby Okereke is the kind of swing that could change both the production and the leadership of the unit. Corner is where the concern spikes again because losing Cor'Dale Flott and replacing him with Greg Newsome II does not automatically make that room better. Safety, on the other hand, finally feels deeper and more stable, and special teams might be one of the sneaky biggest upgrades on the roster with Jason Sanders, Jordan Stout, Calvin Austin and the return of Gunner all changing the floor of that group. So that is the real question for this live show: did the Giants truly improve this offseason, or did they just get better in the flashy spots while still leaving the biggest structural issues unresolved?
