I was invited as Guest Speaker of the Rotary Club of Koronadal IN AUIGUST 2025, under the leadership of President Baltazar Fresco, with the presence of Bing Garcia, Past District Governor. True Rotary fellowship followed naturally on the fairways of Kalsangi Golf Course, located within the vast pineapple plantations of Dole Philippines in Polomolok, near General Santos City. The day began with a solid breakfast at the DOLE Golf Club—simple, generous, and efficient. Nine of us teed off, joined by warm and energetic Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Johor Bahru. Different nations, one Rotary spirit. Kalsangi is honest plantation golf. Flat terrain, open skies, steady wind, Mt. Matutum watching quietly in the distance, and endless rows of pineapples lining the fairways. No resort drama—just discipline, accuracy, and rhythm. Laughter, friendly competition, and meaningful conversations flowed naturally, as Rotary fellowship should. We closed the day with a satisfying lunch at the DOLE clubhouse—good food, shared reflections, and strengthened friendships. Kalsangi does not try to impress.
