How to Install Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility Intel® XTU on Windows 11 24H2

The Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel® XTU) is used to overclock, monitor, and stress a system. This application is supported with unlocked processors (K- and X-series) only. Refer to “This download is valid for the product(s) listed below” section for supported processors list. WARNING: Please make sure your processor is supported before downloading the latest version of Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel® XTU). Older versions of Intel® XTU are no longer available for download. In this YouTube tutorial on my channel Tech Solutions, I’ll be guiding you on how to install Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (XTU) on Windows 11. Intel XTU is an advanced performance tuning software developed by Intel. It allows power users, gamers, and enthusiasts to monitor and fine-tune system performance, overclock their CPU, manage power settings, and track system stability through real-time data. It’s an excellent tool for safely pushing the limits of supported Intel processors while staying in control. To begin the process, we need to visit the official Intel website—the download link is already shown on your screen. This is the official landing page for Intel XTU, directly from Intel. Once you're on this page, scroll to the bottom, where you’ll see a detailed list of supported Intel processors. Please make sure your system’s processor is included in that list before downloading and using the utility. Compatibility is important, and running XTU on unsupported systems can lead to failed installation or unpredictable behavior. There are two versions of the Intel XTU download available on the page. One version is designed for older generation Intel processors, specifically up to the 14th generation. The other version is meant for the newer Intel Core Ultra processors. Since we’re using a 10th generation Intel processor, we’ll proceed with downloading the version meant for older generations. Click the correct installer and begin the download. The file size is small, so the download should complete in a few seconds depending on your internet speed. Once downloaded, go ahead and run the installer. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation. For the installation to complete successfully, a system reboot is required. As it’s not possible to record the screen during the reboot process, we’ll pause here and resume once the system restarts. Welcome back! The reboot is complete and Intel Extreme Tuning Utility has now been successfully installed. Let’s open it. Here it is—welcome to the Intel XTU dashboard. The interface is clean and packed with features that allow you to monitor CPU temperature, core voltage, system load, and adjust frequency settings in real time.
