✨25 Years of Khalsa Aid! ✨ This year, Khalsa Aid International proudly marks 25 years of #servinghumanity. Founded in the UK, Khalsa Aid is a global #humanitarian relief charity dedicated to providing aid to victims of natural and man-made disasters such as floods, earthquakes, famine, and war. The #charity was established in 1999 by Ravinder (Ravi) Singh, who was deeply moved by the suffering of #refugees during the #Kosovo crisis. That same year also marked the 300th anniversary of the Khalsa, offering a powerful moment for the #Sikh community to reflect on the core teachings of their faith. Ravi was particularly inspired by the Sikh principle of “Sarbat da Bhala” – meaning “the well-being of all.” This guiding philosophy emphasizes the importance of recognizing our shared humanity and helping those in need, regardless of race, religion, or borders. As we look back on #25years of impact, we honor the unwavering commitment of our volunteers and supporters who continue to live out the spirit of #SarbatDaBhala every day.
