A bonus vid to go with my previous vid where I soloed Ozma with each character in FFIX without completing the friendly creatures sidequest (and some extra solos with it completed):    • Final Fantasy IX soloing Ozma with ea...   Accidentally equipping Rune Claws instead of Kaiser Knuckles dropped Amarant's damage output, and (along with some other mistakes) this was the result. I made a number of mistakes, particularly as a grew more frustrated. I also couldn't decide how safe I wanted to play things. If Curaga was a counter and Curse is coming up then a mini-ed No Mercy does virtually no damage and risks another Curaga counter (putting me in a worse position), but if Curaga was Ozma's actual turn then not using No Mercy means missing out on damage and dragging the fight out further. Spare Change covers both of these posibilities (since it still deals full damage while mini), but I wasted my Gil early on. This is why I used Spare Change more sparingly in the other vid.
