The Daigo cherry tree has been selected as one of the 100 best trees in Japan.The name comes from a legend that Emperor Go-Daigo admired this cherry tree when he was exiled to Oki Island in 1332. The sight of only one cherry tree standing tall in a tranquil mountain village.It has an overwhelming power that makes visitors marvel.It is a cherry tree that makes you want to look at it forever. Tsuyama Castle is a castle ruin located in the northeastern part of Okayama Prefecture.It has been selected as one of the "100 Great Castles of Japan".Today, 1,000 cherry trees are planted in Kakuzan Park.It has been selected as one of the 100 best cherry blossom viewing spots in Japan.
