Student Opportunities: Working as a Fulbright Specialist

Meet Jonathan Alloy. While pursuing his master's degree in the field of International Relations, Jonathan worked as a Fulbright Specialist in Vienna, Austria. There, he applied the expertise gained from his coursework to real-world challenges. He partnered with the Technical University of Vienna to help them craft a strategic communications plan for their third century of scientific leadership for the world. Jonathan describes the Fulbright program as one of many transformative experiences made possible through Harvard Extension School. Other highlights of his time at HES include visiting campus for an in-person course and engaging with rigorous classes that encouraged critical thinking—all while enjoying the flexibility to spend time with his family and maintain balance in his life.
