• Volcarona found April 8, 2024 This is hunted way more often in BW2, which makes sense for a few reasons, but I love this postgame BW1 hunt, even if it's not super accessible for building a team — thematically it just feels really cool for it to be treated almost like a legendary (I know I've heard a lot of people even say they once thought it was one), vs. just kind of randomly being there mid-game in BW2. Also, I recorded all this footage at the time of the shiny, before I'd fully accepted how the Burmy line was rising among my favorite Pokémon, so that's why I still call Volcarona my favorite with no caveats. But also, Volcarona is never not going to be one of my absolute favorites, so almost everything I say pretty much stands regardless.
