Up potting my citrus tree using a biochar and native soil mix

Hey YouTube in todays video I’m gonna be up potting my new citrus tree into a larger container just so it has bigger shoes to fill and because I might be moving this year I want to be able to take this one with me since I already have the same variety in the ground. I’m up potting this citrus tree in a soil mix that I created about a month ago and the soil mix is 100% biochar so 5 gallons of biochar and 50% of my native soil just so it can retain water a little better so making it 2.5 gallons of my native soil, and lastly but not least 10% compost of the soil mix so just with the biochar and native soil together is 7.5 gallons so the 10% would be a .25 of a gallon of compost just to add organic matter and to add biology back to the soil since the biochar got charged and to reactivate the microbes that’s already in my soil, and I decided to plant black beans on top just like you plant a legume tree next to your fruiting tree that’s a whole other rabbit hole I can get into, but just know that the legume will help your trees with nitrogen so you don’t have to add it to your soil witch is my goal.
