What's your definition of crazy? First time reaction to Hi Ren, by Ren Gill. For those who haven't seen it, this is a masterpiece in musical storytelling. Hi Ren is a feat of disturbing, haunting magic. The concept of Hi Ren was around for a while, however this version was different to the released version. He originally wrote it when he was in a much darker place and was going to end it with him killing himself. However, when he finally re-visited this concept, he completely rewrote all of the lyrics and changed the ending to end with the idea of hope. It's a powerful song that we believe everyone should hear at least once. And if you're ever feeling down, depressed and/or in a dark place, just know, you're not alone. Reach out.
