As learners who sat for KCPE last year continue joining Secondary school for Second day now some Parents of some girls who are yet to Join Maasai girls have requested the Chief principal MASAI Girls Cecilia Teeka to give them time and keep their position as they are unable to reach to the institution as bridges in their  areas has been destroyed by heavy downpour that is experienced in narok county. According to the principal she was worried why some has not reported yet there are many girls requesting for a position in the school and since parents has confirmed they will show off when they are able to access to the school they will retain their vacancies and urged parents not to risk themselves and risk student trying to get into the school before deadline. Teeka said so far they have admitted 398 girls and they are expecting to admit 550 girls even if the Government allocated them 470 girls and she will add others especially those who are needy students and been sponsored saying narok county Mp Rebecca Tonkei has brought more than 20 needy students and she has already admitted them and other stakeholders who are sponsoring other girls are requesting for position and the school is able to accommodate them,. She added that parents of Narok have shown positive initiative of supporting Girls education unlike before when they could not value girl education and congratulate fathers since most of the girls are their fathers bringing them.
