Episode Preview - David Robinson finds the comfortable life as chief clerk in his father-in-law's shipping firm tedious. He accepts the offer to open a new branch in Canton, China and embarks with his wife Elizabeth, and children Ernst, Joanna and Christina and the family dog, Bruno, on the sailing voyage. But things turn sour when aboard the ship they encounter Parsons, an old sea-dog who believes the family has treasure hidden in their cabin. And the storm places all the passengers on board in great peril.
