Today capacity is an important metric, not only for off-grid applications, but also for modern passenger cars and trucks and busses. When talking about the energy demand of modern vehicles also another criteria becomes important for the reliability of a battery: the so called cycle life, therefore we'll also shed some light to this term in the video. For demanding applications (e.g. in case of retrofitted consumers) also an technology upgrade from flooded batteries to AGM technology might be considered.
