I Built The Solo's Base Off Grid

Livonia has the most of my 10k hours in DayZ, and for good reason. This map provides the best place to settle down no matter if you are a raging squad out to dominate, or a solo hunter surviving off the land. Today, I will be building my very first solo base off grid. A freestanding structure like this is the hardest to secure, but also the easiest to hide. Getting enough recourses early on to build defenses, and picking the right location is key. Also, being on a medium to low pop server means that stealth is even more critical. As you will see, every shot has a more personal name tied to it, and every bread crumb could mean the end of all your hard work. Also, I've added some subtle on-screen prompts and recipes to help newer or non-DayZ players follow along. Come along as I adventure through DayZ's second map, Livonia. We will visit many nostalgic areas, all while fighting as a solo to survive. I'll use 10,000 hours of in-game experience to show elite survival skills like how to hunt down other players and their bases, unique raiding techniques, and PvP. More importantly though, I'll show you how you can establish and grow a solo base off grid base.
