Join us in this step by step tutorial on how we built our galvanized raised garden beds! These beds not only look great and will last forever, but they'll also really maximize our food production. Materials Needed: 1- 4x4x8 post 1- 2x4x8 board 2- 1x2x8 boards 2- 1x4x8 boards (We used untreated wood, to keep our beds organic) 3- 2x8 sheets of metal roof panels Metal roofing screws- we used 1.5" Wood screws- we used 3" for braces and 1 5/8" for trim Cut list: -cut 4x4 posts in half (approx 4 ft), then in halves again (approx 2ft, but measure to account for the width of the saw blade -cut your post corners at 2” W and 5/8” D and again at 3 1/8” W and 3/8” D to create the notches as shown in the video -cut 2x4 at 49" and then cut the remaining board in half (approx 23.5") to create two more pieces -cut 1 metal sheet in half (approx 4 ft) -cut 1x2 to box width -cut 1x4 to box length Tools Needed: -table saw or circular saw (with guides to make the job easier) -drill with appropriate bits -metal snips -gloves and other safety gear Shoutout to @HAXMAN for the original idea!
