I promised to share some hotels for all my future guests to Nairobi, and the first stop is Radisson Blu Upper Hill! You may be coming to Nairobi for a multitude of reasons - safari, exploring the city, getting into the history of East Africa, or scouting and researching for future endeavors. Either way, whether you’re coming alone or with a group, this hotel is a great option. Though let me emphasize groups because the hotel has the facilities necessary for hosting larger groups, meetings and conferences. Think church groups, professional organizations, fraternities/sororities, etc on a special trip to Nairobi. Coming to Kenya for the first time is a good experience to be shared with friends or family, 100%! It’s centrally located as you’re easily able to reach the airport, attractions like Nairobi National Museum & Nairobi National Park, and popular neighborhoods: Westlands, Kilimani, and Kileleshwa/Lavington. The video features the executive room & suite, 4 restaurants (Humidor, Larder, Al Fresco, and Chophouse), spa, the outdoor lounge and pool area, and executive business lounge. Not shown (due to the hotel being at high occupancy 😅) are the meeting spaces, pool, jacuzzi, gym, and standard rooms. It’s less busy on the weekends. Standouts were cleanliness (the hotel literally SPARKLES 💎), city views, and hospitality/service. Expect a quiet stay at the Radisson Blu Upper Hill!
