Lindau forma parte de Baviera/Bavaria. Uno de los lugares más famosos de Lindau es la entrada al puerto. Es el símbolo de la ciudad y se caracteriza por dos construcciones notables: La estatua del León de Bavaria de 6 metros de altura y el faro de piedra de Lindau de 36 metros de altura.
