It's now Natlan's time under the sun for the Myriad Melodies, bringing forth a combination of tribal choruses, strings, and tech-oriented electronic sounds. Ironically, the Nation of War only has one combat theme here, with the majority of its music focused on characters and environments. You'll be looking to the character and exploration themes for the more challenging tracks this time around. There's a few more instances of swifter note snaps compared to earlier charts, requiring some small bursts of speed here and there, but it shouldn't cause too many issues. Sometimes it's pleasant to have the charts use the full energy of the music being played (as Chasing the Rainbow mostly shows), but at other times, it can feel misplaced. Some charts have rapid two-hit bursts on one column with sound usage (the main Natlan theme and Chasing Flames Like Strings), while others seem to have weak or no reasoning at all (Makani 'olu'olu), and there's also lots of underuse of instruments (such as the piano in Rain of Seven Curtains or the ignored violin in Natlan's main theme). Weird charting errors continue to appear as well, such as some charts somehow missing a starting note (e.g. Venture of Tonalamatl) and some instances of notes not following the music at all (Lights On Me has a set of holds that repeat the previous set, even though the vocals they were to don't repeat that way; there are also alternating notes during holds in the later part of Venture of Tonalamatl that seemingly go to nothing).
