Before applying the extensions, brush through your hair to remove any tangles. ⇒ Steps: How to put in 5-piece clip-in hair extensions Segment your hair roughly at the top of your ear and clip this portion of your hair out of the way. Now you’ll be starting with your 2-clip piece. Pop open both of the clips, hook onto your hair, and press in both of the clips one after the other. Unclip the hair segmented in the first step and create a new hair segment about two centimetres above the last row. Clip this portion of your hair out of the way. Now it’s time to use the 3-clip piece. Pop open all the three clips, hook onto your hair, and press the clips in, starting with the centre clip. Next, unclip your hair and segment it about two centimetres just above the last row. Now clip your hair out of the way and apply the 5-clip piece by pressing in the centre clip first, followed by the 4 outer clips. This is the widest part of your head, which is why it's best to use the 5-clip piece here. Unclip your hair along the side of your head, segment your hair at just about your ear level, and clip it out of the way. Now, put in the single piece. Avoid going too close to the front hairline to ensure maximum comfort. Repeat this last step on the other side of your head and you’re done!
