Qanurli (What's Next?) - A Youth Show I.B.C. - 2011 - 2012 Host: Inuk Qablunaq - A contest for best cooking Duration: 4:65 Qanurli? (What's Next?) -- Youth Show Qanurli? is a 13-part magazine-style series for Inuit youth on today's issues and culture from a Northern perspective. Contemporary in its visual style and attitude, Qanurli? reflects current youth programming on network channels. It shows the everyday life of Inuit youth and offers a unique perspective on modern Inuit humour. Each episode contains a variety of segments including: profiles of talented and inspirational Nunavut youth; humorous updates from "Sivalaaq (the biscuit) News"; commercials for outrageous products and imagined sponsors; random original comedy skits and hilarious parodies; and, Qanurli? hosts, Inuk and Nipangi, trying their best to produce the show within a show, simply called "Show"! Language: Inuktitut (English sub-titles). --- This video is one of a series of clips showcasing TV productions by the Inuit Broadcasting Corporation (IBC) in Nunavut, Canada over the last 30 years. The series of clips are linked on IBC's Nunavut Media Arts Centre (NMAC) fundraising website "Sanavallianiq Isumagijaujunut -- Building for Dreams" launched in September 2012: www.Sanavallianiq.ca or www.Building4Dreams.ca -- Donate Today! We are raising $8.5 million for this building which will house IBC's production operations, including updated equipment to keep pace with the industry, a studio, film archives and more. The building will also be available to other film, performing, and media artists and organizations in and outside of Nunavut.
