Playthrough of Mental Omega 3.3.5 Epsilon mission #21 - Obsidian Sands on Mental Difficulty. During her berserk moment in Kashmir, Libra was able to read into every single mind in the area - and by doing so, the colaboration between Chineses scientist Yunru and Rashidi was revealed. Traitors must be punished - and so Epsilon forces are heading straight to Bissau, to put an end to the Scorpion Cell HQ and assimilate the rest of forces. This mission can be either a nightmare or a nightmare. It all comes to a simple fact - do you want to breach through using only resources you have at hand or do you want to establish the base and push with overwhelming force (if you can collect it). Allow me to explain why. Production in primary base is tied to the fact if your mcv is deployed or not. You can either push with the troops that you receive by reinforcements and not have to deal with majority of enemy attack waves sent at you - which is still quite a challenge as there are a lot of preplaced forces around here - or you can take it slow, build up your eco and then push with massive taskforce. I choose the first option here. In my opinion there are 4(5) units that are most important for such run, rest of them can probably be ditched as EMP/Support power bait. Those units are Basilisks (for anti building damage and burst damage), Gattlings and Collosi (for dealing with Evolvers), Rahn (free brutes) and obviously the main unit of the mission, Libra herself as main DPS. Using those forces you can destroy everything on your path as long as you cover the ground for each other. And speaking of Evolvers, they will make your life a living nightmare. Until you receive Collosi, there is a chance they will actually take Libra out, as the retaliation attack can be quite annoying - Libra will try to escape the bombing run and may be uncontrolable for most of time. Proceed with caution, push with the AA cover and you should do just fine. There is one weird Easter Egg here. First step requires you to mind control an Erradicator. After that, destroying the Nuke Reactors in Scorpion Cell's base will result in couple of very rad people appearing - killing them grant you one time use of Iron Curtain.
