Today we cruise around the mostly abandoned, poorly reviewed on Google, Central State Hospital (originally known as Central Lunatic Asylum) in Petersburg, Virginia. Originally established by the Confederacy for wounded patients, then becoming the first institution in the country for "colored persons of unsound mind."
