قرية الهجير - وادي الجمل تقع قــــريــــة الــــهجير فــــي وادي بــــني خــــروص والذي يــــعتبر مــــن الأوديــــة  الـــعمانـــية الجميلة والـــشهيرة ، وهو آحد الأودية التابعة لولايـــة الـــعوابـــي بـــمحافـــظة جـــنوب الـــباطـــنة  حيثت تبعد عن محافظة مسقط حوالي ١٠٠ كم . نسـتكشف اليوم الـوادي الـذي يـصبُ فـيها وهـو ” وادي الجـمل ” الـذي ينبع من شـمال قـريـة الـروس بالجبل الأخضر. سمي الوادي بهذا الأسم بحسب رواية أهلُ القريَة ،أنه عند نزول الوادي وتدفق المياه بالسرعة العالية، تُشكل المياه المنجرفة منظراً يُشبه ركضة الجمل. ونحن في مسيرنا لاعلى الوادي نشاهد من بعيد الشلال الكبير والذي ستكون لنا التجربة الفريدة بالنزول منه اليوم . وصـــلنا لأعـــلى الـــوادي صـــعودا لـــساعـــة ونـــصف مـــن الـــوقـــت حـــتى وصـــلنا لــــعين مــــائــــية نــــقية تــــسمى ”بعــــين القش“ انتهزنا الــــفرصــــة لشــــرب مــــائــــها الــــعذبُ والبارد ثم بدأنا بالنزول للوادي. تنحــدر مــن الــجبل الــعيون المــائــية عــلى بــدايــة الــوادي تــشكل تــناغــما صــوتــيا لا يـقاوم ملئ المكان سحـراً  فـأطـلنا الجـلوس والإسـتمتاع بـصوت تـساقـط قطرات الماء ، وفــــي طــــريــــقنا صــــادفــــنا الشــــلال الأول والــــذي يــــبلغ ارتفاعه حــــوالــــي ٢٠ مــــترا ، لا شيئ أجـمل مـن نزول الشـلال بصحبة  زخات المـاء الـباردة ومحاط بالـحشائـش  الخضراء الـتي اضافت على الشلال منظرا يحبس الأنفاس .واصلت النزول بحذر بسبب وجود أماكن زلقة، أحاول آن أضع قدمي بالمكان الآمن وعدم السقوط. عــند وصــولــنا للشــلال الــثانــي كــان عــلي تأمين  صــديــقي خــالــد حــتى يــتمكن مـن تـثبيت نفسه بالركيزه الصناعية مستخدما حبل الآمان ومن ثم نزول الشـلال الأطـول والأجـمل بـالـوادي، واثناء نزول الشلال يعبر خالد عن شعوره بطريقته الخاصه ) كم انتي جميله يا عمان ) هـذا الشـلال الـغزيـر والـــذي يـــبلغ ارتـــفاعـــه ٤٠ مـــترا , يـــتميز عـــن غـــيره بـــشكله المـــتفرد والمـــُتعرج ، حــيث تــتساقــط مــياه الشــلال فــوقــنا أكــثر كُــلما نــزلِــنا ويــنتهي الشــلال فــي بـِـركــة مائية خضرا صافيه. مع وجود العيون المائية فلا شيء آجمل من الشرب من مائها العذب و النقي تــابــعنا طــريــقنا لآســفل الــوادي وتــكمله الــنزلات الــباقــية والــتي لا يــزيــد ارتــفاعــها عـــن ٢٠ مـــتر تـــقريـــبا، بعض هذه البِرك المائية يزيد عُمقها عن ثلاثة آمتار تقريبا نواصل السباحة لنصل إلي آخر بِركة مائية ، حيث صـــادفـــنا بوجود انـــبوب مـــاء يـــمتد مـــن هذه الـــِبركـــة ويصب في فلج القرية وتبلغ طول المسافه بينهما حوالي سبعمائة متر تقريبا. استغرقت رحلتنا بالكامل حـوالـي ٦ سـاعـات اسـتمتعنا خـلالـها بـبرودة المـكان و المناظر الخلابه والشلالات المائية . ننصح الجميع بعدم تجربة الوادي إلا اذا كنت متمرس في هذه الهواية ولديك المعرفة التامة في استخدام معدات Al Hajir Village – Wadi Al Jamal The village of Al Hajir is in Wadi Bani Kharus and is considered one of the most beautiful and famous Omani wadis. It is one of the wadis that belong to the Al Awabi town in the South of Al Batinah Governate which is located around 100 kilometres away from the capital city Muscat. Today we will be exploring a wadi that pours into this main wadi and is called “Wadi Al Jamal” which springs from the north of Al Raws village located in Al Jabal Al Akhdar. According to the locals of this village this wadi was given this name because of the gushing water descending at high speed resembling a camel running. As we continue to walk to the top of the wadi we can see the massive waterfall where we will be climbing down through today’s unique experience. It has taken us an hour and a half to get to the top of the wadi and we can see the spring’s source known as “Ain Al Qash”. We take this opportunity and enjoy drinking the pure fresh spring water before we start descending towards the wadi. The beauty of this place was so majestic that we decided to slow down, stop and enjoy the sounds of the droplets and really absorb our gorgeous view. On our way down we came across the first waterfall which is around 20 meters high. There is nothing more fulfilling than climbing down a cold waterfall surrounded by beautiful green shrubs with breath taking views. I carefully continue to climb down as it does tend to get very slippery, I also try to place my feet appropriately to avoid falling. By the time we reached the second waterfall I had to ensure the safety of my friend Khalid and he can climb down using safety ropes and descend towards the longer waterfall that merges into the beautiful wadi And with this Khalid screams “Oman you are so beautiful!” This heavy waterfall is 40 meters high and is uniquely crooked shaped Some of these water ponds are around 3 meters deep We continue to swim towards another pond Where we came across a water pipe built in this pond and pours into the village’s falaj. The distance between them is around 700 meters.
