Stanley #907 Tool Chest Legacy began 70 years ago when my father acquired a tool chest. This was the tool chest that taught me to revere tools and began my love of woodworking. I inherited the tool box and learned the origins and began the restoration of the 19 tools originally included in this Stanley Tool Chest. This single box taught my father, myself and a whole group of grandchildren the enjoyment of working with tools. A particular feature is the inside label proudly proclaiming the Stanley Tool Chest heritage with a special invocation “THERE IS A LIBERAL EDUCTION PLEASURE AND PROFIT IN A SET OF TOOLS.” I started woodworking in 1979 and have built over 320 projects in my home workshop. I have built everything from 18’ wooden kayaks, wooden gear clocks, wood turnings, toys, remodels, shop tools, cabinets, tables, bookcases, tooling, jigs and fixtures (or anything my family needs or wants).
