300 Nigerian Boko Haram Hostages Rescued by the Rapid Intervention Battalion ,BIR

Some 300 Nigerian Hostages captured by Boko Haram Have been Rescued. #Cameroon's Elite Force, the Rapid Intervention Battalion rescued the Nigerians from 2 localities in Nigeria that are close to the Cameroon/Nigerian Borders. 90 percent of the now ex Boko Haram Hostages are made up of Women and children. Boko Haram Militants were also killed during the Military Operation though the defence forces did not tell us the number of the terrorists killed. After this special Operation, The Governor of Cameroon's Far North Region Says arrangements are been made with Nigerian authorities to transport them back to their homeland. Tens of Thousands of persons have been taken Hostage by Boko Haram in the Lake Chad Region since the Boko Haram Sect started carrying out assassinations and large-scale acts of violence since 2009. #Cameroon #nigeria #LakeChad #BokoHaram
