East Cape is the most eastern tip of the mainland of country - Papua New Guinea (PNG). It is also known as "Cape Deliverance". It is located at the eastern tip of the mainland of PNG through the Milne Bay Province, following the Owen Stanley Ranges which starts from the heart of Papua New Guinea. That is what is known as East Cape, in the Milne Bay Province, the end of Mainland of Papua New Guinea. The access to East Cape, the eastern tip and the where the mainland of Papua New Guinea ends, is by both road and sea, however, since the road - Alotau East Cape Highway, also called Charles Abel Highway, is sealed all the way and in very good condition, thus, going by road is easy, interesting and enjoyable and is highly recommended. It is about some 55-56km in total length. There are many villages along the way and road runs along the sea front in some areas, providing a beautiful picturesque and scenic scenes, views and beauties, especially when the weather becomes too fine, where by you could look through the openned milne bay, "the Bay", to the east. There are many roadside markets with betel nuts, green coconuts, fruits and fish and etc. It is and now becoming more popular as an iconic place, due to it been "the last and eastern end tip of the mainland of country Papua New Guinea". All of Papua New Guineans would like to come and see with their own eyes, the very place to which is called the end of mainland of their own country, where it ends and how it ends, which makes one becomes very emotional at times. It's iconic, it's historical, it's awesome and yes, it's very emotional too, yeah. And its more amazing when you walk or travel that small ridge, which minimizes from the steep, rugged and rough bigger Owen Stanley Range, and more so when you can stand on that minimized Range and are able to see the both sides of the country all at just one glance. So if you are from Papua New Guinea, better come see how the bigger, mountainous and rugged and bushy Country of yours ends with just grasslands, shrubs and tranquil sea waters. It is only then you have conquered your own country in its entirety. From other countries, please do come and see, a beauty in it's own natural settings. Hope you will or have enjoyed watching. Thank You All....
