From Thursday the 9th - Monday the 13th May 2019, the Railway Preservation Society of Ireland ran their annual May International Tour, for this year's tour it was called the ''Waterford & Limerick'' International Railtour. This year the tour ran to various locations including, Dublin Connolly, Sligo, M3 Parkway, Waterford, Limerick & Whitehead. Traction used was steam loco number 85 'Merlin' + RPSI Mark 2 coaches, Irish Rail 071 class locomotives & RPSI Craven Stock. 0:00 - 1:07, Thursday the 9th May 2019, we start off at Fairview Dart Depot on a miserable wet day where we see 85 'Merlin' with it's Mark 2 coaches passing while working the Whitehead - Dublin Connolly leg of the tour. 1:07 - 3:18, Having arrived in Connolly Irish Rail 071 class loco runs light engine to Connolly to collect the Mark 2 coaches before hauling them to Inchicore for storage seen here passing Claude Road in Drumcondra. 3:18 - 4:48, Friday the 10th May 2019, the next day the Knocknarea tour to Sligo takes place with 071 class loco number 074 passing through Broombridge with the RPSI Craven Stock. I wasn't able to catch the return leg due to being in work at the time. 4:48 - 5:28, Saturday the 11th May 2019, the next day we head to Barnhill, Co. Dublin on the Clonsilla - M3 Parkway Branch where we see 071 class loco number 074 passing, this was supposed to be 85 'Merlin' hauling but due to brake problems 074 had to take over. 5:28 - 6:21, Next we head to Dunboyne Station where we see 074 passing while on a light engine run to Clonsilla. 6:21 - 7:10, Having turned around at Clonsilla 074 returns to the Craven set at M3 Parkway. 7:10 - 8:10, Now we head back to Dunboyne where we see 074 passing with the tour back to Connolly. 8:10 - 9:03, Having getting it's brakes repaired at Connolly 85 'Merlin' returns back on the tour and begins it's journey to Waterford seen here passing Glasnevin Junction. 9:03 - 10:04, Sunday the 12th May 2019, the next day we head out on the Waterford - Limerick line where we see retro 071 hauling the Waterford & Limerick tour past the former station of Fiddown, Co. Kilkenny. 10:04 - 11:47, Next we get ahead of the tour to the former station of Kilsheelan in County Tipperary. 11:47 - 12:58, Next we meet the tour at Clonmel Road in Chair County Tipperary where it makes a 10 minute stop at Chair station. 12:58 - 13:41, Next we head to Ballinlough East, Bansha, Co. Tipperary where we see 071 passing as it continues it's journey to Limerick. 13:41 - 14:34, Having turned around and now with 086 hauling the tour now, the tour then heads back to Waterford seen here passing the Former Station of Dromkeen in County Limerick. 14:34 - 16:15, Next we head to Tankerstown, Co. Tipperary where we see the tour passing. 16:15 - 16:43, Next we head to Ballinderry, Co. Tipperary. 16:43 - 17:46, Next we head to Turkstown, Co. Kilkenny where we see the tour passing as it makes it's way into Waterford. 17:46 - 18;33, Now having arrived at Waterford we see 086 shunting the Craven stock out of the station into Sallypark yard. 18:33 - 20:24, Monday the 13th May 2019, now with 85 'Merlin' in charge the Waterford & Limerick tour passes Prospect Road / Cross Guns Bridge as it makes it's way into Connolly. 20:24 - 21:20, Now 071 class loco number 074 takes the empty Craven stock to Inchicore seen here passing Glasnevin Junction. 21:20 - 22:54, Now running an hour late, 071 class loco number 088 passes Glasnevin Cemetery Bridge with the empty RPSI Mark 2 stock. 22:54 - 23:52, Now having gotten held at Glasnevin we again see the Mark 2 transfer at Cross Guns Bridge / Prospect Road. 23:52 - 24:29, Now I was amazed to have gotten ahead of that transfer again on a push bike, here we see the Mark 2 transfer passing Bessborough Avenue as it makes it's way into Connolly. 24:29 - 26:06, And finally to finish off the 5 day tour we see 85 'Merlin' passing Fairview Dart Depot with the return leg back to Whitehead.
