BOMBARDIER ECOJET INTERIOR – A New Aviation Paradigm Is Born

Here is one of the very first proposals of what the experience onboard the Bombardier EcoJet could look like — an exceptional glimpse into the future of private aviation. This video illustrates my personal interpretation and in no way reflects the official direction of the brand. Presented in June 2024, it is my second-semester project during my Transportation Design DESS at UQAM, in Canada. ------ The idea behind the concept ------ The EcoJet is a Blended Wing Body aircraft. Thanks to this unique fuselage shape, it consumes significantly less energy and can fly much farther. With that in mind, the goal was to design an aircraft capable of connecting any two points on Earth without stopping — all while providing exceptional comfort for both passengers and crew members. ------ The design process ------ Interviews and activity analysis with flight attendants to better understand their needs Visits to luxury hotels for inspiration from high-end hospitality experiences Layout research in virtual reality with Gravity Sketch, to explore the unique and complex Blended Wing Body architecture 1:1 scale model of a room to validate ergonomic requirements Concept sketches and styling with Photoshop 3D modeling in Gravity Sketch to develop style and ergonomics simultaneously 3D rendering using Redshift (apologies for the HD quality — my computer was practically on fire) This concept has a lot more to show — so feel free to check out my portfolio or reach out.
