This is the first ash bowl I've made from the 5 giant ash trees that have been cut down, in my front yard. (Thanks to the emerald ash borer).😠 At least the wood is still beautiful to make thing out of. I tried to make this bowl a live edge, (bark on), but it flew of at some point while turning, making it a natural edge instead. Finished with 3 coats of tung oil.
