Due to the nature of UC2 I can't give a step by step process, but I will outline a strategy. Most waves spawn, once enough enemies are defeated. The goal of UC2 LTC is to always have enough enemies killed, such that the next wave can spawn ASAP. While it is possible to kill enough of Waves 0 and 1 in turn 1 such that Wave 2 ears already appear in turn 1, I have so far not figured out a way to do that with enough resources remaining to then also kill wave 2 right after. For every other turn we will kill enemies while they spawn, so that the next wave can immediately follow (usually such that less than 4 enemies are left). And we will kill the last wave fully the turn it spawns Player turn 1 main goals (Extra resources: M-Power, Steely Stare): Set up Sentry with RP, Defeat Bowser Jr. Enemy turn 1: Wave 1 spawns Manipulate Bowser Jr. so you can set up the Sentry, then kill as much as possible. The Sentry spot is chosen to not be affect by Bwahluigi's Magnet Dance all the way in turn 6. Luigi's is positioned to maximize the chance of success in turn 2. Player turn 2 main goals (Extra resources: Mario Melee, Itchy Feet): Set up Sentry with Luigi, Defeat all but at most 3 enemies Enemy turn 2: Wave 2 ears You will see the next few turns will require at lot of adaptability, as getting perfect RNG is just not feasible. Goal of turn 2 is to set up another Sentry for later and kill enough enemies such that less than 4 remain by the end of it (Usually this will be some hoppers) Assuming no bounce crit from the Ziggy the shown strat works well. The Boo will randomly teleport Mario somewhere to the top, which gives drastically different results though. However it should be possible to complete the necessary goals of future rounds with proper adaptation. The Lava Hopper should always go to the spot in the vid, which we use to set up the second Sentry. Rabbid Peach should have no issue completing her objectives for this turn, which lie in defeating the Lava Hopper, dealing some damage to the Lava Smasher and being a jumping pad for Mario (and potentially Luigi) Luigi only needs to set up the Sentry from a specific spot and can help the others with their objectives if necessary. Both can pick up some more enemies along the way if the opportunity arises. Mario's initial state can vary drastically. His goals are to defeat Smashers and if necessary break the Lava Hoppers shield. If Mario is stuck due to Honey or in a bad spot you should be able to save it using Itchy Feet and Luigi's double cleansing jump. Player turn 3 goals (Extra resources: RP Sentry): Defeat enough enemies, Hero Sight, Steely Stare Enemy turn 3: Wave 2 spawns, defeat all but at most 3 enemies, Wave 3 ears In turn 3 you want to remove all enemies and position Mario and Luigi so they can kill spawning ones. You want to keep one alive (usually the Lava Buckler), to set up a third sentry next turn. Luigi's position is chosen for next turn, to set up the Sentry. Mario's position is less strict. In this run I even decided to pick up a Boo with him and it still worked out. Preferably you want Rabbid Peach to remove Boo's as her position is very lenient. You can even set up another Sentry available. Player turn 4 goals (Extra resources: M-Power, Itchy Feet): Set up a Sentry with Luigi, Kill enough enemies Enemy turn 4: Wave 3 spawns, defeat all but at most 3 enemies (with the Sentry), Wave 4 ears This turn 4 enemies will spawn against no reaction shots. With lots of Sentries on the field, any enemy left alive could trigger Sentries we need for later. The goal is to kill all enemies on the field and then use a Sentry to kill most of the spawning enemies. Luigi sets up the Sentry and may help others. Mario and Rabbid Peach will kill remaining enemies. We also need to position everyone such that surviving enemies will not trigger Sentries. The positions shown in the vid worked well for me, especially as prep for next turn. Player turn 5 goals (Extra resources: RP Sentry, Heal) Clean up, prepare for the finale Enemy turn 5: Wave 4 spawns, Wave 5 ears This is your last chance to heal, fix remaining problems, replace exploded Sentries, kill enemies and of course prepare for the explosive finale. They only other goal is to position Mario right in the middle of the Bwahtrio and make sure he survives. You need Bwahluigi to honey crit or else the trio will move into the Sentries or use Scaredy Hero to push them away. Player turn 6 goals (Extra resources: None): Set up the last Sentry, M-Power all Sentries and Luigi, Steely Stare Enemy turn 6: All of them die Set up one more Sentry and position Luigi to kill left over enemies. Make sure all of the Sentries and Luigi are M-Powered and Mario is hidden far away. Use Rabbid Peach to free Mario of Honey and manipulating Blizzy to move. Kill the Bwahtrio. Then end the turn.
