Cochrane is well known for its western heritage and attracts tourists to visit the historic small town. When you are in town there will be a flashback of western life because of their unique building designs. While walking around the town, there are information boards to read about the history of each store, who owns it, which is passed to generations. Every visitor that comes to Cochrane never missed to buy the best ice cream at Mackay's.There's a lot of flavor to choose from and I was amazed, they also have halo-halo and durian flavors that most Asian visitors order. The small town has a lot to offer, candy store, mall, western clothes boutique, fast-food and Asian resto too.You can also watch live music in a resto patio while canadian train passes by.
