It's the latest social media craze, which has led to a 43% surge of 18 to 25-year-olds using sunbeds. Growing numbers of young people are jumping on ‘Tanning TikTok’, proudly posting videos showing off their tan lines and documenting their sunbed habits - all as part of a so-called 'wellness trend'. 26-year-old former ‘sunbed addict’ Georgia Edwards first started using sunbeds three times a week when she was just 16, and was later diagnosed with skin cancer aged 19, leaving her needing major surgery.
