Back in June of 2014, the Russian company known as Kalashnikov Concern was added to a sanction list, under the Obama Whitehouse. This effectively banned the future import of all Saiga firearms, parts, and accessories. For a time, Molot VEPRs were safe and continued to come into the USA, but this would not last. In June of 2017, Molot too was added to the sanction list; this time under the Trump Whitehouse. After this decision, no more firearms can come in from Russia, and honestly probably never will again sadly.
