This LotR Lore video basically explores the complete History and Lore of the Elves from the perspective of Cirdan (the Shipwright). Who is this Elf in the background? Why do Elves and dwarf dislike each other? What's the story of Dol Guldur? Who is Cirdan? I answer all these questions. The video was planned as a short video about Cirdan, the Elf in the background, but mutated into a 90 minutes long in-depth look at Tolkien's Lore and History of the Elves in Middle-earth and how some Elves affected the other Elven Clans, but also the dwarves, Edain and Dúnedain (e.g. Aragorn). I'll also look at the lore behind many famous elven characters like Galadriel, Elrond, Thranduil, Celeborn, Cirdan and Gil-galad. I don't mean the "Unbegotten" (the 144 Elves (according to the legend from the "The War of the Jewels"), who don't have parents, except Eru) by this, but the group of the first few generations living in Cuiviénen. Depending on interpretation Círdan can be at best 3rd generation or later. -Círdan is not the oldest Elf of all Elves, just upon the oldest living on the continent Middle-earth (I also say this correctly in the video, but some people may be confused by it) At around 39:21 min in the bullet-point it should be Fingon, High King of the Noldor, not Finrod. Finrod (Galadriel's older brother) was dead already and the King of Nargothrond (not High King) It happens that I put the stress on the wrong syllable on names. In case of Teleri or Istari, the stress is on the first syllable. When Amon Lanc is abandoned by the Silvan Elves is not clear. I thought it was related to Sauron hiding in Greenwood/Mirkwood, but this is probably not the case and they maybe abandoned it in the Second Age under Thranduil's father Oropher (if you consider him canon).
