Pink Floyd Live in Oakland (audio only). I do not own any rights regarding this video or audio. That's just a mix I did with the two parts of Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts I–IX) Animal Instincts bootleg. The last part (second half) is, for me, one of the best of Shine On Live; it's so powerful. This bootleg is excellent and one of the best recordings of old Pink Floyd shows, and this performance is often considered to be one of the greatest performances of the band's career. It's not possible to identify whether it's Rick Wright or Snowy White, though. ►►► CURIOSITIES: • At this show, Pink Floyd played the song "Careful with That Axe, Eugene" as a second encore for the first time since 1974 and for the last time ever. • This show turned out to be the longest of any show on the In The Flesh Tour. • Ticket prices ranged from USD 7 to 9, something around USD 42 today. • This bootleg was partially recorded through the soundboard by the concert promoter and musical impresario Bill Graham. • "Us And Them" was only played as an encore in a few performances of the tour, including this show, although the tape used by Bill Graham during the recording ran out in the middle of the song.
