Not quite Wim Hof, but a huge step for me! 😉 I joined the trend of taking cold water dips. I never thought I could do this because, to be honest, I'm over sensitive to any sort of cold. But now it's part of my normal morning routine. I am learning to tolerate discomfort. Each morning, I immerse myself in this tub of cold water for 90 seconds. Today, the water temperature is one degree Celsius, which is 34 degrees Fahrenheit. There are sheets of ice on the surface of the water. I want to look relaxed and casual in this video, but as you can see, I am not at all. It's torture, and I'm trying to surrender to the discomfort. Why am I doing this? Well, there are many health benefits to taking cold showers or cold water dips such as: boosting immunity increasing blood circulation increasing metabolism improving your skin condition. But the main reason I'm putting myself through this is to increase my MENTAL TOUGHNESS. Like many people, I have become too comfortable; and when we are too comfortable, we stagnate.
