What a fun day out this day was with the kids and my brother with his son Charlie. Plenty takes, pulls and netted fish with 11 lots in the end on a count back. Best method was a di3 or di5 sweep sink line with 2 lures fished slow fig of eight and left to hang. Home made lures as you will see but Ally Mcoist would be the next best thing if you don't make your own flies. Find the deeper water where there seemed to be holding for this method. A floating line with long 15-20ft leader and single fly will work up by the dam wall with slow fig eight and a Ally Mcoist also. All fish returned safely as we are a #catchandrelease family only.
