This is from his section of boxes with lids. I liked the way he cut the instert that goes on the bottom of the lid to secure it to the box. I do not know why I have not thought of doing this before as I have made a lot of my own box designs with this type of lid. This is something I will add to my box making procedures. It makes a very snug lid that fits very nicely. As always I presented it to my wife when finished, for final approval, and she said that it would make a nice earring box. So that is what I call it, an earring box.
