Dino’s Tinker Shed, S2-Ep8. I fix my bottle top propane heater In this episode, I “fix” my bottle top propane heater. These heaters are also called Sunflower Heaters and are a great choice for shed or garage heat in the winter months. The fix that I am doing is not endorsed by any heater manufactures that I know of and if you chose to do this mod it is at your own risk. Removing the anti-tip over sensor means if the unit tips over it will not shut off. The heaters I own, started to act up last year and although I could light them, they would not stay lit on their own, I diagnosed the issue to be the anti-tip over sensors and removed these from the thermocouple wiring and installed toggle switches to turn on and off the heaters.
