The project will come to life a few weeks after her birthday, alongside a lead single sharing the same title. “Decisions is one of the most genuine songs I have written about myself. I can be very indecisive about pretty much everything. I’ll agonize for hours just making my mind up about the simplest choices like a place to eat. Must be a Gemini thing...”, she explains playfully about the breezy summer track that sees her embracing her duality and little imperfections with confidence. On top of it and her duet Too Special with her sister Sunday Rose (supported by Spotify, Apple Music, Radio 2, MNM...), her audience will be gifted 5 exclusives, balancing matters of her heart, body and soul. Indeed, if Body Talk, H.I.W.I. and Pillow Fighting explore WAYI’s 50 shades of sensuality, the Spanish-influenced guitar ballad In Too Deep reveals her struggle to break free from a toxic relationship while the outro Sweet Religion offers a celestial moment suspended in time, going back to her gospel roots with heavenly harmonies. “I called the EP Decisions because I felt this was me making a big decision for the first time: to be honest about everything I feel and think, and to write about those feelings and thoughts without overthinking it. I wanted to release it simply, with ease and peace of mind”, she adds. This is a sophomore EP for WAYI whose debut Love In Progress released in 2019 cumulated over 1,1 million streams across platforms. The latter even made its way to BBC Radio 1Xtra’s EP Top 5, while also putting her on the radar of sir Elton John and renowned media outlets like ELLE France, Red Bull Elektropedia, High Snobiety and Refinery29 amongst others. With the Decisions EP, WAYI is unveiling a whole new side of her, which you will also get to experience live: after a sold out headline show at AMOR in Antwerp earlier this year, new exciting performances are to be announced very soon...
