This muzzleloading flintlock ifle is reminiscent of those which would have been used in the mountains of Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee during the first half of the 19th century (approx 1820 through the 1850's and some saw use into the early days of the 20th century). Join us for some insight into how these flintlock rifles creations may have been put together and enjoy the beauty of where wood meets steel. Stock = curly maple Barrel = Green Mountain 45 caliber 13/16 straight. Butt Plate, Toe Plate, Side Plate - made by me my own designs (based on those on a few different original rifles). Triggers = RE Davis Lock = L&R Durs Egg Trigger Guard = heavily modified Bean Style Tennessee guard Nose Cap is short "pistol" size. Most of the parts from Pecatonica Longrifle Supply out of Illinois. Rest were either things I made or stuff I had laying around and can't remember where I got them. #longrifle #flintlock #muzzleloader #pennsylvaniarifle #squirrelrifle #Southernrifle The camera gear I use: Canon EOS R7 #canonr7 #canon Canon RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1 L IS USM #canon100-500 #canon100500 Canon RF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM #canon24-105f4 #24105 Canon RF 100mm f/2.8 L Macro IS USM #canon100mmF2.8macro #100macro Canon RF 16mm f/2.8 STM #canon16mmf2.8 #16mm Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX10 IV. #sonyrx10iv #sonyrx10iv
