DIY guide for full vehicle Bullyliner bed liner protective coating!

Hey everyone! Something different for you today. We have been thinking about using Bullyliner bed liner protective coating to give the van a paint job for a while. We managed to convince Jahla's brother to give the product a test run on his old Nissan Patrol 4WD wagon. His Patrol's original factory paint was very damaged and weathered condition. Karl grabbed his phone and filmed the process as we went - having no idea at all how it would turn out! Thankfully, as you'll see in the video at the end, it worked out well. We used water-based Bullyliner for this job instead of 2-pack isocyanate-based bedliner spray paints (such as Raptor liner). As you will see in the video, the water-based Bully Liner leaves a more matte finish and it is much safer to work with, not requiring any specialist safety equipment to use. It also uses recycled rubber, which we thought was nice! Bully Liner can be applied by brush, roller or with a spray gun. Since we were painting an entire vehicle we chose to hire a spray gun and borrow a workshop and paint the whole vehicle in the one day. Keep in mind that your will get a slightly different texture/finish depending on how you apply the bedliner, so be careful if you spray and also roll/brush areas as it might show the difference. How it'll hold up long term we aren't sure, but so far so good! We found that only a small handful of insurers would provide cover once we had painted the vehicle. So keep this in mind, as it will reduce your options for insurance and might end up costing you more due to less competition.
