Los Angeles based singer Addie Hamilton releases her first single of 2021. It will be available on all digital platforms on January 8, 2021 on Los Angeles Records. ‘’Tangerine’’ was written by Hamilton with writers /producers Todd Wright and Ethan Mentzer who played guitar and bass respectively . Grammy nominated Larry Goldings was enlisted on keys and Anna Barreiro was brought in on percussions. The single was mastered by Drew Mazurek. Single artwork photographed on film by Fabian Fioto Her song ‘ Valentine’ is set for release on Valentine’s day. An album is scheduled for the fall and will also be available in Vinyl format as well. When asked about Tangerine , Hamilton comments: '' I wanted abstract lyrics so that the listener could connect their own meaning to them. For me, Tangerine is a reminder to focus on the beauty in life.To believe that miracles can happen. To keep faith when the world around you says otherwise. As if you are living in a black and white film and you are the only one who sees the red, blue, tangerine '' Hamilton’s music has been heard in various tv shows , including the Good Place , Nancy Drew , Riverdale, Shameless, Katie Keene and in a trailer for the Apex legends video game. Addie co-wrote Pokey LaFarge’s ‘ Lost in the crowd ‘ on his current album and ‘’ Hollywood Calling’’ on the String Theory’s album entilted ‘The Los Angeles Suite’. Addie is the featured vocalist on the track. She was nominated for a Grammy in 2019 for her contribution to Sekou Andrews record in the Spoken Words category. Hamilton is managed by Patrick Conseil .
