JAMuary 1-21-26 - Advance Wars inspired battle music with the TEO-5 and Digitakt II

21 days in and I'm kind of amazed that there's still music coming out of me! My wife got me a handheld retro gaming system for Christmas and I've been loving it. I played through Advance Wars for the GBA and now I'm at the end of Advance Wars 2. The music of those games absolutely influenced this jam. I LOVE the way this TEO-5 patch sounds. It's a slightly altered version of a default patch with, among other things, the distortion and X-Mod cranked up to get a ton of character in there. I go for a little intentional dissonance during the little solo bit, and I think some of it works really well, while other parts don't. For a quick improv I'm pretty happy with it though.
