"Souvenirs des fleurs de Pervenche”. Une nouvelle pièce pour flûte et piano est née des souvenirs d’un été lumineux. Le titre est "Souvenirs des fleurs de Pervenche”. Je dédie cette piece à tous les participants du festival de l'été dernier à "La Mélodieuse" et aux habitants de notre village de Puget. J'ai commencé à écrire la première partie dès la fin de l'été. J'ai composé cette partie en ressentant la nostalgie de ce très bel été où nous avons partagé une merveilleuse musique ensemble. La deuxième partie est une prière calme et silencieuse pour le monde loin de la nostalgie. Après avoir terminé la deuxième partie, j'ai mis la plume à Pervenche pendant plus de quatre mois pour réécrire “La deuxième Sonate pour flûter et Piano". Et puis j'ai fini d'écrire la troisième partie, le climax de Pervenche et la coda à la mi-mars. Il y a diverses difficultés, chagrins et douleurs dans ce monde maintenant. J'ai écrit le point culminant avec l'image d'un oiseau quittant son nid, résistant à un vent de face violent, bougeant ses ailes avec toute sa force et son courage et continuant à voler. J'ai écrit le point climax avec l'image de tout le monde vivant fortement comme cet oiseau. La composition de ce climax est aussi un combat contre moi-même qui n'est jamais forte, j'ai aussi inclus un souhait pour tout le monde et pour moi-même de ne pas céder aux épreuves. Coda voulait initialement terminer en embrassant simplement les souvenirs de l'été. Cependant, ressentant les difficultés et les souffrances de ce monde, et la douleur de perdre un être cher, la musique a inévitablement été replongée dans le chagrin. Malgré tout, j'ai tourné mon visage vers la lumière, et à la fin, j'ai fermé la pièce avec l'espoir que je voudrais terminer avec la lumière de l'espoir, Je veux rester près de notre chagrin ensemble, main dans la main vers l'espoir, et vivre forte. Le fils de notre ancien maire Alain Sage, Thierry, est décédé le 17 janvier 2023 à l'âge de 50 ans après une bataille de six ans contre sa maladie SLA (Sclérose latérale amyotrophique). Le 15 avril, nous avons organisé concert commémoratif pour Thierry à La Mélodieuse. Dans ce concert, "Souvenir de fleurs de Pervenche” a été interprété le premier mondial avec le flûtiste Michel Moragues, et le pianist Yu Matsuoka qui sont des amis très proche à moi. I composed this part while feeling nostalgia for that very beautiful summer that we shared wonderful music together. The second part is a quiet, silent prayer for the world away from nostalgy. After completing the second part, I put the pen for Pervenche during over four months to rewrite « Deuxième Sonate pour flûte et piano ». And then I finished writing the third part, the climax of Pervenche and coda in the middle of March. There are various difficulties, sorrows and pains in this world. I wrote the climax with the image of like a bird leaves its nest, resisting a severe headwind, moves its wings with all its strength and courage and continues to fly. I wrote the climax with the image of everyone living strongly like this bird. The composition of this climax is also a fight against myself who is never strong, I also included a wish for everyone and for myself to not give in to hardships. Coda initially wanted to end by just embracing memories of summer. However, feeling the hardships and sufferings of this world, and the pain of losing a loved one, the music was inevitably pulled back into sorrow. Even so, I turned my face to the light, and at the end, I closed the piece with the hope that I would like to end with the light of hope, I want to stay close to our sorrow together, hand in hand toward hope, and live strongly. The son of our former mayor Alain Sage, Thierry, died on January 17 2023 at the age of 50 after a six-year battle with his disease ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). On April 15, we organized a commemorative concert for Thierry at La Mélodieuse. In this concert, “Souvenir de fleurs de Pervenche” was performed for the world premiere with the flutist Michel Moragues and the pianist Yu Matsuoka who are very close friends of mine. Yuko Uébayashi
